Sigh. Where is the down vote button.

PS: I loathe her for concrete reasons. Same with Trump.

Try reading it sometime....I notice many flag waving conservatives haven't actually read it (not good).

3 Nominees lost the popular election and won the Electorial College vote and became President:

1876- Hays
1888- Harrison
2000- Bush 2

1 Nominee was elected by the House of Repesentatives even though he lost the popular vote and the Electorial College vote failed to reach a minimum threshold:

1824- John Quincy Adams

1 Man became both VP and President without a popular or Electorial College vote:

1974- Ford

If the President Elect were to die or otherwise be unable to be inaugurated, the job of POTUS defaults to the President Elect's running mate, the VP.

I think we're going to be unhappy no matter who is elected due to previous presidents. What's up for grabs is to what degree depending on who's elected this time.

My sister is a lifetime straight ticket Republican voter. Name a Democrat and she hates him or her.

She cannot wrap her head around Trump and will be voting for Hillary. She figures Hillary will be impeached and Kane will take over and she prefers Kane to Trump, anyone other than Trump.

Seems to me politics is a game of dividing the country and it's as bipartisan as it gets.

The overwhelming majority of campaign promises and intentions require Congress to act and fund. Regardless of who wins, neither will have a mandate.

Happiness/ unhappiness is a personal choice.

I cannot imagine allowing a presidential election outcome to impact my emotions.

You may be right. Obama has set the bar pretty high.
