And even U6 fell to 9.5%. Pretty astonishing how far we have come. Since the bottom of the disaster Obama inherited there have been 16 million private sector jobs created. Obama can leave office saying definitively that the economy is far better than what he walked into.

Barack Obama and his regime are spectacularly corrupt and have corrupted virtually every part of our government, certainly including this agency which publishes economic statistics. Anyone who still trusts the people or who doesn't realize these numbers are routinely cooked and fabricated to support the Obama regime's political narrative is a naive fool.

This is a horrible job report. WE LOST FULL TIME JOBS AND REPLACED WITH PART TIME JOBS. This economy is on a thread....

The household survey painted a less-flattering picture, with full-time jobs falling by 103,000 and part-time positions gaining 90,000, while and government reported a 22,000 net gain

US nonfarm payrolls total 161,000 in Oct, vs 175,000 jobs expected

it is not a statistically accurate, controlled study with quality checks. in other words - it's anything the govt. wants it to be.
Your description is almost entirely false.

No not far better. How is it a recovery when purchasing power is worse than before the crash? How is it a recovery when long term unemployment is still much higher than before the crash? How is it a recovery when those on food stamps have just recently been lowered from all time highs and are still much higher than before the crash?

Right ! 8 years is a long time. Obama double debt and our GDP vs DEBT is basically at 100%. We have to fix these problems real soon. For the USA having the largest economy in the world, our GDP is horrible. China is barking up a 6% GDP. I can only imagine how many people would be working if our GDP was that high......
