They have became nothing more then a wing of the government spreading mass propaganda with a pure agenda to attempt to make us think exactly how they want and need us to think. I repped you and couldn't agree more. Do away with the political party pundits who spin the same old opinions. They add no value. Donna Brazile getting debate questions in advance for Hilliary--that is cheating. An LA Times reporter tweeting Trump should be dead, Fox News erroneously reporting an indictment is near for Hilliary, Don Harwood of CNBC giving Podesta campaign advice--it goes on and on.

The media should be ashamed of itself.

I do. I see Stephen Bannon, Bill Kristol, and Nelson Peltz pulling the puppet strings on the clown trump. Social Media is flooded with lies and race baiting trash constantly. The National Enquirer is Trumps legit source, we officially live in a bizzaro world.

I haven't trust major media since at least 1993.

But, rest assured, generally speaking, attention spans are short and ruling classes since the year one everywhere in the world have been using the same basic tricks over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, regardless of geography, language, race, ideology.

The US is no exception.

Like everything else in history, that 1776-1787 thing will prove to be temporary, in fact I don't think it will survive the end of this century, if that far.

Better to start making other arrangements for yourself now.

Good Luck!

I turned them off back in 2007. I used to watch the "news" every evening until it was clear to me (hey I'm a slow learner ) that they no longer were reporting. It seemed to me they were very bias in reporting events and selective on what they reported. They also seemed to editorialize during their broadcasts.

Now I get all my news from smaller news outlets on the internet. I NEVER take any story at face value; if interested I do more research. I skip "stories" that I do not consider relevant.

I may be "uninformed" about a lot of things but I feel it is better than being misinformed.

The National Enquirer is now the most accurate and serious news source in America. The Daily Mail (UK) will print both sides of a story on occasion.

I hear ya OP.

Just while getting ready to respond to this thread, I tried to pause the tv program I am watching but couldn't, so I went to record it on my dvr and this is what I get.

Ok? No. Not ok. 21% storage left too.

Donald Trump has the same set of values as the MSM, they are a match made in heaven. Any publicity is good publicity; any $$ fluttering in the breeze is a good $$. Both are purely self absorbed.

I already stopped trusting the media decades ago when a channel in Europe showed the difference between news broad casting by showing the same images with different comments that showed how the info provided with the images can totally change what you believe you see.

Approx 5 different countries showed the same images of kids throwing rocks at Israeli military personnel and wounding a military guy.

The words from the so called journalists were contradicting what another channel said and much was added to make their opinion shown.

Yeah--Hitler didn't trust a free press either.

I'll never trust Wikileaks again. Russian front.
