Harris County deputies did traffic stop, smelled marijuana, did a vehicle search, still smelled marijuana so they decided to do a manual body-cavity search...... while still in a parking lot.
When Corley protested, "the deputies forcibly threw Ms. Corley to the ground, while she was still handcuffed, pinned her down with her legs spread apart, threatened to break her legs, and without consent penetrated her vagina in a purported search for marijuana," keeping her pinned to the ground for about 11 minutes."
The DA took one look at this and dropped all charges against Ms. Corley and instead sought an indictment for the deputies involved. Thats how bad the real facts are.
Corley has filed a federal lawsuit.
and now

Deputies William Strong and Ronaldine Pierre face one count of official oppression, a misdemeanor offense.
They should be charged with sexual assault, and fired. Instead we get more of the "cops held to higher standard" form of justice we have all come to expect when cops break the law.
Still employed. I wish I could say that was unbelievable but its not.
and for those special few claiming this was just her word, in the last thread....

Although the entire incident was videotaped, the tape has no sound because the deputies apparently turned off their microphones, according to the complaint.
how convenient.
And apparently the woman who did the search isn't being charged because she told the other 2 clowns that this wasn't right and possibly an illegal search but was ordered to do it anyways.
What's the deal with all these cops that claim they can smell marijuana when there isn't any around? The same thing happened to those two women that were groped on the road in Texas, and has even happened to me once when I was younger, I didn't have any marijuana or anything but the cop said he could smell it, I was young and dumb and let him search my car and of course didn't find anything and let me go, but seriously, wtf? I bet these guys if they find some just end up going back to smoke it.

Probably someone smoked it in the car. I remember one time I was at a store shopping and a young guy was near me and he reeked or weed. I don't like that smell, so I can smell it right away, but it was so strong like he was smoking in a phone booth. So the smell can be there, it doesn't mean there is any in the car or on the person.
But as far as the story goes the cops need to be put in jail for sexual assault.
It's the old "I smelled marijuana in her vagina" excuse.
