This is from last year, but I couldn't find a thread on it here when I did a search. She sounds so interested with her 'hmmmm-mmmm's' that it made me laugh out loud.
She doesn't have a plan to help black people. It's all talk and vacillation. Trump will bring jobs back to our inner cities.
But...but...her husband was the first black President. (for those younger than dirt, that's what someone called Bill Clinton and he was later honored as the first black President at the Black Caucus Dinner)
She seemed disinterested, and everything that came out of her mouth were political buzzwords that meant nothing.
She says she's aware of the problems black people have, yet her response was to tell them they needed to do X, Y and Z in order to effect change. That doesn't sound very committed to a cause.
Hillary is right, knows how activism works, and is trying to help these aimless activists. If they want politicians to help they have to move beyond "feelings" & blame and be clear, in a legislative sense, of what their goals are. The guy is rambling and has goals of "taking the message" and"speaking the truth to white people"... and Hillary is warning that his time and opportunity for change will pass unless he can get specific with actionable goals that legislators can get behind. She is trying to help these "kids" get their **** together and gave basic Activism 101 advice. Watch it again in that context.
