Parties need to be eliminated all together. Electoral colleges need to be eliminated. Each candidate should be allowed so much money to campaign with so they are all on the same playing field. The person with the most votes should win.
As it stands third party candidates are not given a chance. They should be able to debate just like everyone else. Just shows you how corrupt the govt is. Unfortunately, its either Republican or Democrat. Instead I think it should be the individual with best plan to get America on track again.

I completely agree. We should also have a voter ranking system (I think at least one state already does this). This would let you rank each candidate based on how much you like or dislike them.
yep. these people that run third party for president with no base are just shooting themselves in the foot. they dispirit those that would support them
A third party can be viable if the people pushing will start by winning local elections and start taking seats in state houses, then get members of the House and then building to state wide offices Gov/Senators.
then with a solid base (and only then) run a candidate for president.
if they do this, it can work.
Exactly - and there really is no better time than today... after this election.
I found out there is a small but growing Libertarian Pragmatist Caucus.
