Expensive Union Nurses and hospital staff+Medi-cal=Another California Government bankruptcy (healthcare, county)

I guess another California bankruptcy is about to occur this time in Contra Costa County Healthcare district.

I guess the area has a large percentage of the population on Medical and other government funded healthcare programs that reimburse at a lower rate then commercial insurers.

Another issue is RN nurses average $133,000 in the Bay Area as opposed to $50,000-60,000 in much of the midwest and south.

I guess in California they are learning that extremely high union payroll for public hospitals with a very high percentage of Medi-Cal patients is not sustainable.
