And that's the thing. These same people who lived in the areas where the factories closed fill their carts at Walmart with cheap crap they really don't need. Are they willing to consume less in order to get back a better economy?

They're expecting factories to spring up like dandelions? Good luck.

If you think those are the only jobs lost ...LOL Tell me you aren't this uninformed ? You just can't be.

And we know nothing is coming back, but you do realize many jobs are still lost to offshoring , globalism, pick your name, right ? We want this flow to stop. Plants are being build daily off of US soil, we would love to see them built here.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've been in a Walmart.

I'm just not a big shopper in general or a person who likes to have a lot of stuff more than I need. For some people, it seems that shopping is a form of entertainment. If I need something, I know what I want, I figure out where to get it, I go when there will be the least amount of people, I go in, I get it, and I leave.

That's if it's not something I can order online and have sent to me.

What the hell, he's replacing solar power with coal so it would be consistent.

Default Steps.

There is several factors in Play.

Tax Code Changes
Increase Taffif Fee's At least those equal to American Import Fees"

Restriction of Import goods and amore balance approach.
Retooling may take some time, but is good for many support ind.
Reduce Federal restrictions to include EPA Restrictions.
Obama Care Gone

Just the tip of the iceberg, but being in manufacturing these basic steps would have to take place.

I am very curious as well. How does Trump plan on bringing those jobs back?

Outsourcing/Offshoring was one of the key reasons I voted for Obama back in 2008. I figured that he'd actually do something about it and that McCain wouldn't. I was dead wrong of course. So I'm quite intrigued how Trump intends to do it. I didn't vote for Trump of course, but I am curious to see how he approaches the problem.
