I can't wait til food prices increase dramatically. America benefits greatly from NAFTA and cheap illegal migrant workers. Can't wait til trumpers have to start spending $5/apple. Maybe they will starve to death.
But that $5 apple will be picked by an American. Why do you hate America?
The critics of Trump are now fawning over him in a shallow attempt to gain access and favor.
Trump rewards loyalty. And I expect he show a toughness we haven't seen in a long time.
"Fawning" over Trump? LOL. You're a funny guy! No. Leaders of other First World countries, including the Prime Minister of Canada, will be trying to keep a straight face around the idiot.
You're rather imaginative, though; I'll give ya that.

OH yeah, dixie. FAWNING.
Quote:
"I think it's important that we be open to talking about trade deals," Trudeau -- a fierce defender of free trade, which helps bolster the Canadian economy -- told reporters.
"If the Americans want to talk about NAFTA, I'm more than happy to talk about it," he said, adding that it was important to periodically reassess trade deals to ensure that they continue to be of benefit to Canadians."
Translation: Yeah if you want to talk about it, sure. But I'm not screwing over my own country. It's an old deal, things have changed so yeah...let's have a look.
Trudeau was also very careful not to criticise or comment on either of the candidates during the whole election. So for Gerry to even say that is just silly.
So? This is exactly what Hillary wanted to do. But you apparently misread the articles you posted.
"...MEXICO CITY: Mexico is willing to "modernize" the North American Free Trade Agreement with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's incoming administration and Canada, but will not renegotiate the pact, the foreign minister said..."
I hope it can be renegotiated. I couldn't believe we were entering a deal like that. (I voted for Ross Perot, who explained NAFTA to the American people and told us what would happen....and what he said did happen.)
I'll give Trump kudos, if he can renegotiate or kill NAFTA.

I think that's probably a semantics thing, to save face.

This is the globalists' fallacy that there is like 15 mins to half hour of labor in picking each piece of fruit or what have you. It's more like 2 seconds. Even all out slavery only returned like a 5-10% profit advantage. And illegals are paid more than slaves...or maybe they do cost less and are more productive . And if the market allowed for $5 apple, they wouldn't be sold for $1-$2 a pound or less now.

Lol. Automation, organizational re-alignments, seasonal labor for the underemployed and the young, and, if necessary, temporary immigrant labor will keep prices where they are.
