Guess he's not against those Muslims after all. Think he'll change his mind on illegal immigration next?
He if keeps backtracking on most of the things he said when he was running for president his approval rating will never be higher than 15% to 20% and it will cost him reelection. These things he is backtracking on are the things that got him elected his base is gonna hate his guts and claim they never voted for him
Everyone who voted for Trump knew that. It's not being against Muslims - it's keeping America safe against terrorists. Dems lied to their base to garner votes.

Yea, I figured he meant the Syrian refugees that are invading Europe. Which he later clarified is what he was referring to.
Now, now tell the truth. Long ago Trump changed the Muslim Ban to this which is also in his Contract with the American Voter that is on his website:
"Suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people
coming into our country will be considered “extreme vetting.”

Glitch briefly removes 'Muslim ban' proposal from Trump website
Some of the most controversial proposals Donald Trump made while running for U.S. president disappeared from his campaign website on Thursday, but a spokesman said what some observers took as a softening of Trump's policies was due to a technical glitch.
The link to Trump's Dec. 7 proposal titled: "Donald J. Trump statement on Preventing Muslim Immigration," in which he called for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States" vanished temporarily from the website but later reappeared.
No backpedal, because it NEVER WAS a "Muslim ban".
That's only how the media characterized it to demonize him.
Many months ago, Trump clarified his position, and it's based
on unsafe countries of origin, and other matters. In other words,
he never was going to ban all Muslims.
