It's 2016. I don't care one iota who someone sleeps with or marries, and I do not understand those who do.

Was there actually a point buried in all that verbiage? Maybe it's just a rant you've been holding back and saw this as your opportunity to vent.

I already made my point using liberal sociology. The US discriminates and wages an over trillion dollar drug war (mainly aimed at black males) on a minority, drug addicts in this case.

I can't help it if you are less intelligent than me.

Ending a drug war, by the way, does not mean one has to celebrate nor publicly approve of recreational drug use or drug addiction. Homosexual activity was and is legal. But it's legalization was not enough. Actually, homosexual sexual marriage was and is not enough. The "T's" in LGBTQ came next in the bathroom issue. But the bathroom was not enough, so, now everyone must be taught and believe gender is biological and not socially constructed. But the was not enough and the "Q's" got in and the argument went Chicago pimp style, spitting game that non-binary gender is biologically determined, and then spitting game contradicting that when it suits the purpose that we need to get rid of all gender constructs altogether as gender is not biologically caused but socially constructed.

I can't care a whit. Just so long as my personal space gets the same respect. The only time I've ever reacted to someone's. .preferences..is when those preferences invaded my and my lady's space with the "in your face" tactic. That's where I draw the proverbial red line. Other than that I have an easy time just minding my own and going on my merry.

You haven't seen on the news that POCs are demanding POC only 'safe spaces' and POC only dorms on college campuses across the U.S.?

And you don't know what 'identity politics' is? It's what cost Hillary and the Democrats the election.

I don't watch cable tv news so no this is the first I've heard of safe spaces for African Americans. I do understand identity politics but I do not understand why it applies to what I said.

I think LOVE is better than HATRED which this world has enough of...... Is this really so bad??

A girl loving a girl or a guy loving a guy??

If anything it shows more open mindedness than of those who cant do this/have been conditioned to think its wrong...

I couldn't care less about who marries whom, as long as both parties are consenting adults.

I consider myself a Republican, but I have no issue whatsoever with marriage equality. I am happy that people that love one another can get married and have a family (not to mention enjoy the "perks" of marriage lol).

Marriage is important because it allows partners (be it hetero or homosexual) to be able to share health insurance, life insurance, and right of election rights once they pass away.
