Marine guy is correct. This short video explains the different types of 5 governments throughout word history and covers Nazi's in the first minute, which is left leaning version of socialists.

Whenever you have total government control, that's fascism, Nazis, or socialism. In the extreme, government makes all or most of the decisions.

As in anarchary with mob intimidation, the Nazi's started chaos and years later had the citizens begging for resolution, such the Nazi's were happy to oblige to restore order.. These are socialists beliefs. Extreme but socialist.

If I've missed it and you have links to her calling for calm, please post!
1. She made that statement in her concession speech, asking for peaceful transfer of power and support of our elected President, and

2. Why should Hillary have a responsibility to do this? She lost the election, and is just another citizen. It's not specifically her supporters doing this in the name of her. Sure, there are some Hillary supporters, but the protests are Anti-Trump, not Pro-Hillary, so she is not really directly involved. Among the peaceful protesters, there are many Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians and Independents out there protesting. PEACEFUL protest is a cornerstone of the American Tradition. It's the few that turn it to riots who need to be dealt with, and I don't think the represent any specific cause.

Protest is already a dicey situation. Emotions are high, people are angry, and they have a right to get their message out. It only takes a few bad apples to tip the scales and turn it into a riot. To think these people represent Hillary, Donald, or any mainstream politician is misguided. They are bad people, with bad intentions, taking advantage of a legitimate situation.

Don't confuse the issues.

And what SILENCE are you talking about. Everywhere I turn, people from all normal walks of life are denouncing this. I've seen more of my liberal friends on Facebook denounce their own close friends for the hate spewed on facebook by fellow liberals than anything. I've seen all decent people denounce the riots. If you are not hearing it, then it's either because you are surrounded by your own type, and aren't hearing anything, or you are willfully tuning it out.

I'm not a liberal either, I'm just saying, you're wrong here.

LOL the name-calling of "Nazis!" and "Fascists!" by Democrats, countered by "Communists!" "Marxists!" and "Socialists!" on by the Republicans ... Such ridiculous nonsense!! We are nothing like pre or post Communist Russia. We are nothing like pre or post Nazi Germany. We're not even all that similar to modern day Europe. The USA is a totally different animal. Unlike those other examples, the USA is absolutely not ripe for totalitarian takeover. It will never be like Nazi Germany. It will never be like the USSR.

Truth: Everyone wants to make the United States a better place. We just differ hugely on how to go about doing that. Democrats and Republicans both love America. Both are good and decent people. Unfortunately, both have gotten so caught up in demonizing the other that they can't even think straight anymore.

Why would she? It's not unusual for a the candidate who lost the election to go quiet for a while.

Thank you for posting this, I think people lose sight of this sometimes, but I believe it to be absolutely true.

(I don't think we are in the same place as Pre/Post Germany/Russia, I agree with you there, but I also don't think that THEY were either. I doubt the USA is headed down that road, but a LITTLE bit of healthy recognition of history is a good thing. That said, I agree the name-calling is over the top and unwarranted.)

Mostly just wanted to thank you for posting your last paragraph!

Why should she say anything? She's a private and it's not her responsibility. When I go out and protest, it's because I'm against almost everything Trump espoused during his campaign and I want to have my voice heard, not because I'm advocating that Hillary really won because of the popular vote. The electoral college is the system in place currently and based on that he won.

I wouldn't expect Hillary to say anything -- after all, she lost the election and likely has been drunk since then.

But the current president should say something. Instead, he's over in Greece, telling everyone there that "a lot of people think I'm doing a good job."

Thats some great detective work. If we sees a swastika , we know who did. We can just round up all the Jews and...er, I mean Trump supporters. I forgot about the Nazis new target group.

Here is what it is. You can not get people who are not capable of clear and logical thought and those who lack vision to STOP anything. There was a time when some people called black people monkeys.

With the passage of time all is revealed....Let me introduce you to the WHITE monkeys. In a liberal democracy we are taught to believe that all people are equal physically - spiritually and intellectually.

The reality is that most people have an average or just below average IQ...especially young people who's brains are not fully developed. What do you think makes it easy for ISIS to recruit young fools? Exactly this. Youth is emotional...logic is clouded. Youth are taught not to control their emotions...to "let it all out" The progressives are all about FEELINGS...sensuality.

These rioter have the same mentality as young ISIS recruits.

I read somewhere that there is a thing called the sin of dissipation. That your job is not to let your molecules disperse into chaos. It stems from human sensuality.

Like a school of fish who move in unison at the slightest bit of stimulation. A beam of light...a noise or a perceived predator.

Christ taught that you must control the natural world of sensation. That you can not as an evolved human being be moved by the natural...that you must attempt to be super natural.

If you want power over your human environ you have to practice self control and logic must trump emotion. These rioter have not evolved into this state yet...and as the progressive system stands...they will NEVER evolve. They lack training.
