Ivanka Trump and her billionaire husband Jared Kushner fly with their kids on a JetBlue flight from NY to S. FL. They want to normalize themselves because there will be Trump diehard supporters will praise something like "our next first daughter fly commercial" or "Obummer is using our tax dollars for private vacation in Hawaii".
This makes me remember how Paul Ryan responds a question on his weekly commute to home. Ryan says He will fly coach from DC to his home in Wisconsin. He lands at O'hare and drives back to home. "There is a private jet for speaker, however, I do not want to use that. It is a complete waste."
Why they just do this kind of cheap "photo op"? Ivanka Trump and her husband may save some money by flying commercial and make a great publicity to appealing their supporters. On the other side, how many Secret Service agents need to accompany them? They may end up paying over $10,000 by "protecting our next first daughter" for this single flight because those tickets at JetBlus will be pricey. This case applies to Paul Ryan as well. If they fly private, it may cost them 4 grand an hour and save $$$ for taxpayers' dollars because secret service could fly with them on the same flight. At the same time, First Daughter's family and Paul Ryan deserve a private flight. They do need to pretend they are "normal people". They are not.
You do realize there are already 2 other separate threads on this very topic that were started hours ago?
What was the purpose to start a third thread????
I don't get it either!!!
I can see why the 2nd was started though, because he title of the first thread was not descriptive at all. There's no way to tell unless you actually opened the thread.
