I have no idea what it's like to be Papa to a dysfunctional family of 320 million people. I had enough issues with one son and daughter aged 2 years apart. Trump's extended family ranges in age from 0-100+, male & female, educated & uneducated, mixed races, white & blue collar, smart & stupid, professional & unprofessional, balanced & unbalanced, stable & unstable, mentally sound & mental health issues, rich & poor, hard workers & lazy people......the list goes on. Absolutely impossible to make them all happy.

If the soul is the life force of the body...then those who become President will have the life sucked out of them. You see it in all the presidents who grow grey before their time.

It's almost like the entire concept of "one person to "lead" us all" is flawed.

Maybe we could have a President and government to lead the Democrats and one to lead the Republicans and several others to lead various identity groups lol?

Given the kind of divisive campaign he ran and the personal conduct he has displayed, I have no sympathy for him.

I feel deeply sorry for people who look to the president to make them happy. But I'm a conservative registered Republican, so I'm used to finding my own ways to make me happy rather than depend on others for my core needs and satisfactions.

Being President really is a tough gig. First you have the longest job interview of your life where everything you say and do is up for scrutiny and your past is under a microscope then if you happen to win the election the scrutiny is intensified.
It hasn't even been a week yet since the election and Trump has already ruined the country according to the left.

The OP is so right, the country is dysfunctional.

That is not new but with Trump you just made it 1000 times worse.
