Trump says he has been sued many times. It's what happens when you're a freakin billionaire.
Please read post number six. You get sued when your a rotten, lying, conniving, mob-associated ripoff artist. Just being a billionaire doesn't mean you're going to be sued thousands of times.
Firstly the thousands upon thousands number you are citing is over about 3 decades. Secondly the majority of those "thousands" of lawsuits were brought by Trump. A further break down when you remove things like slip and fall and other frivolous lawsuits significantly reduces the number. I forget the exact number but someone on Oreilly broke the numbers down and it wasn't many at all...
Why would you call slip and fall frivolous? My grandmother slipped and fell on a wet grocery store floor (no yellow warning sign in place), and broke her hip. I have no idea why she chose not to sue the hell out of them, because there was clear liability there, but if she had done so, it certainly wouldn't have been "frivolous." Old people can die of complications from a broken hip.
As far as Trump goes legitimate or not they are not relevant to this discussion as far as I'm concerned, you can't micromanage every single thing your 20K+ employees do.
Generally speaking it's the classic frivolous or fraudulent lawsuit. That's not to say they all are.
I do seem to recall that Mr. Trump had requested that the trial be delayed until after the election, since he would be so busy campaigning. The judge agreed. Now, Mr. Trump wishes for the trial to be delayed until after inauguration. Of course, if the judge (whom is urging the parties to settle), agrees, I have no doubt that Mr. Trump will then ask for yet another delay, since he will be busy being president.
However, if I were in his position, I would probably do the same. I would hold out as long as possible so as to get the most favorable settlement possible from the plaintiffs.
"Crooked Hillary is bad" and the idiot mob then elects a guy who molests women, steals millions from people, and pays neither his employees or his taxes. Good job, right-wing loons.

True enough but he only outsources jobs to 12 different countries and he helps keep the Chinese steel mills operating. So there`s that. He`s a job creator.

True, true! Did he every specifically say he was going to create *American* jobs? Lol... But, hey - maybe he'll hire a few Americans to work as servants in his latest real estate adventures! That still counts as "job creation in America," right!
The idiocy is astounding at this point, and we're not even a week past the election.
I'm just waiting for the whining to begin about poor Donald is being picked on, the claims are false, the media is out to get him, blah, blah, blah. Horse hockey. If anything, the media failed to scrutinize him closely enough, early enough in the process. The error was not in picking on him, it was in not taking him seriously until it was much too late.
I think that some who voted for him are going to wake up early on his Presidency and realize what they got for their anger vote. They didn't think he'd win. Surprise.

Maybe he can do what the Clintons do. Delay the verdict and pay your fines using donations.
