So, your point OP?
the point, which went completely over your head, was the democrats kept saying that trump hated women and gays, along with minorities of every stripe.

You know, it really doesn't matter who he appoints as the left will still complain.

I thought Trump wanted to get get rid of the "swamp" yet here he is aligning himself with the same "swamp" just different party. I don't know...I think that's worth complaining about.

The "swamp" are the embedded heads of the government agencies who may not be political appointees. They are referred to as the "webees", meaning "we be here when you come and we be here when you're gone". Trump needs to send some consultants in to reorg and remove some of these people who run their own private fiefdoms.

We knew Trump was neutral. The issue is who Trump surrounds him with, who he gives government power to make decisions, those whispering in his ears, and the individuals he stirred up in the public who are frustrated/upset their political views guided by Religion.

Donald Trump is a New Yorker after all.

However the most anti-gay organizations and leaders seem to be delighted with his election. Maybe they know something we don't know.

Personally, I am not impressed with tokenism.

No, just the activists who pretend they represent everyone, trying to convince us that all the people of their flavor feel the exact same way. In that way these activists train everyone else to make an assumption that 'all those people' think alike.
