You are free to disagree, but clearly you are not understanding the problem with the new/added costs, and who should pay for it.
The cost has always been there. Nothing has changed. They have always been paid with existing tax dollars although you don't like that fact. It was there 20 years ago and will be there tomorrow. There are no new costs. This is not a new program. We pay taxes on every level.
You can't choose not to pay for schools because you don't like them or don't have children in the school district.
im sympathetic to illegals but at the same time this country is not a charity nor is it fair people who break the rules benefit over people who follow the rules.
imagine if we had sanctuary cities for drug users or other people who break the laugh. people would laugh at that so why is immigration laws any different?
I said divert some, which doesn't mean "block" or "strip" all. I didn't know it needed spelled out. I'm suggesting moving around some funds to cover an ICE agents cost. Just one program alone that gives blanket status to schools for free meals. If a certain percentage qualify they just give status to the entire school. That is a huge waste. I'm sure it could be found somewhere.
