The cost has always been there. Nothing has changed. They have always been paid with existing tax dollars although you don't like that fact. It was there 20 years ago and will be there tomorrow. There are no new costs. This is not a new program. We pay taxes on every level.
You can't choose not to pay for schools because you don't like them or don't have children in the school district.

im sympathetic to illegals but at the same time this country is not a charity nor is it fair people who break the rules benefit over people who follow the rules.

imagine if we had sanctuary cities for drug users or other people who break the laugh. people would laugh at that so why is immigration laws any different?

Yes we alllllll need to work on that.

No, it was other Americans who decided to hire them, educate them, give them health care, etc.

I FULLY SUPPORT THAT.

Everyone already here that isnt a criminal should be given a path to permanent legal status, ultimately citizenship.

Why should we be punished for having a charitable hearts because that's our reaction to the federal govt being incapable of securing the border?

And it's our duty to forgive their tresspass and help them.

Actually this is the height of hypocrisy:
And you're from a city that's being heavily gentrified. When did you folks care about what happens to illegals?

Just one program alone that gives blanket status to schools for free meals. If a certain percentage qualify they just give status to the entire school. That is a huge waste. I'm sure it could be found somewhere.

A lot of Cities didn't care until they got to share the pain. Now it's everywhere.

This is how gentrification is being handled in LA

Turns out diversity isn't so cool if it's white People moving in.

More peace and love from the leftists ..
