I wonder if Giuliani is no longer being considered by Trump because he seems to have a shady past.

This is but one example;
Quote:
For years, Giuliani has been one of the most prominent American officials to advocate on behalf of the Mujahideen-e Khalq (MEK), a Marxist Iranian opposition group that claims to be the legitimate government of Iran and resembles a cult. A Treasury Department investigation in 2012 examined whether speaking fees paid by several MEK front groups to a long list of U.S. politicians, including Giuliani, violated laws on Americans receiving money from designated terrorist organizations.

From what I can tell, he basically dropped off the earth after the last campaign.

1) He's old - older than probably anyone else being seriously considered for a position in the administration.

2) The business ties are potentially a problem. It doesn't seem he was operating with the goal of holding a federal office again.

Everyone has skeletons in their closets. Trump does (and he won). Clinton does (and she lost). I think people no longer care IF there are skeletons in the closet, but instead now compare skeletons and choose the better skeleton.

Seems that Giuliani has so many skeletons that his closet is bursting open!

If Trump doesn't have too many skeletons in his closet, then there's no such thing as "too many skeletons in your closet." The only skeleton that's going to matter is what work have you done with Democrats.
