Its funny you saying this, because I have wondered the same. The Left have been saying a LOT how they will co-operate with things they agree on. So he may build a wall with Republican support, then do universal healthcare with Democrat support, and the Republicans who will be loyal to him. They will all hate him, but if he gives them the compromises to accomplish big things he might manage it.

But he is surrounding himself with big business and crazy. So....I am doubtful this scenario will play out like that.

You must be listening to a different congress, I understand that is one area both democrats and republicans are in agreement with and want to go forward full steam ahead on infrastructure..

Do you have a citation for that, because it's still taught at universities.

Democrats better study American history and the election results of 2010, 2014, and 2016. Threads like this prove they are incapable of learning from their many mistakes.

You're quibbling.

Where we are AT on the laffler curve has some pretty clear evidence-and reducing taxes is not going to help. But its also generally taught in the initial classes at college. Further on you may enter into discussions about under what conditions it IS wrong.

PS if you have a interest this:
https://www.amazon.com/s?search-alia...=9781439040546

has some older data on what the opinion of economists are about it. (not that great)

PS-yes I know its survey results. Laffer was one of the topics in it.

No, that tells us about elections. Kansas tells us about the results of pursuing the economic changes that appear to be a favorite at the moment. Don't confuse the two.
