Trump doesn't owe Republicans anything, he's not a politician but a businessman that will find ways to get what he wants. I suspect those R and D labels are going to be meaningless to him. If the establishment Republicans do not want to play ball he may just seek support elsewhere.
Its funny you saying this, because I have wondered the same. The Left have been saying a LOT how they will co-operate with things they agree on. So he may build a wall with Republican support, then do universal healthcare with Democrat support, and the Republicans who will be loyal to him. They will all hate him, but if he gives them the compromises to accomplish big things he might manage it.
But he is surrounding himself with big business and crazy. So....I am doubtful this scenario will play out like that.
Word on the street is the last thing Republicans in congress want is infrastructure spending. Congress has been saying it's dead on arrival.
"Conservatives do not view infrastructure spending as an economic stimulus, and congressional Republicans rightly rejected that approach in 2009,β said Holler, whose group is the political arm of The Heritage Foundation. βIt would be a mistake to prioritize Big Government endeavors over important issues like repealing Obamacare, reforming our regulatory system and expanding domestic energy production,β Holler said. β
You must be listening to a different congress, I understand that is one area both democrats and republicans are in agreement with and want to go forward full steam ahead on infrastructure..

Democrats better study American history and the election results of 2010, 2014, and 2016. Threads like this prove they are incapable of learning from their many mistakes.
Do you have a citation for that, because it's still taught at universities.
You're quibbling.
Where we are AT on the laffler curve has some pretty clear evidence-and reducing taxes is not going to help. But its also generally taught in the initial classes at college. Further on you may enter into discussions about under what conditions it IS wrong.

No, that tells us about elections. Kansas tells us about the results of pursuing the economic changes that appear to be a favorite at the moment. Don't confuse the two.

Waiting to hear how increasing taxes, will make people spend more..

Why, because the Democrats say so!
