Illinois is 21st in gun murder rate.

That means there are 20 states with worse per person killed by guns.

What do you mean "just"? Got any proof that guns cause crime, any crime?

And most of the murders are black on black, young people killing young people. Show me a white community that does that.

Solved? Do tell. Would that be done by banning certain classes of firearms? Certain accessories? Restrictions the rights of the non criminal class further? How many other useless and dictatorial "solutions" did I not list?

And 85% of them are felons killing other felons. That's thousands of fewer career felons in society every single year, its no wonder democrats are all for "gun control".

To answer your question:

Many Americans own guns, not just right extremists.

I myself voted for Hillary and I own 17 firearms, including 3 pre-1989 AWB AK-47s, 2 ARs, many handguns. I'm actually in favor of tighter control of gun ownership. One best way to do your part of controlling guns is to own it yourself. That way, you know one more you own, one less undesired ownership.

Really? "the left" is condescending and ignorant" on guns, or just in general, since they disagree with you on so many things? It is pretty condescending and ignorant to characterize half the US population in that manner. Just sayin'.

Shall we add up the anecdotal examples? After a while, the weight of anecdotal examples actually adds up to something resembling a trend. I appear to be very liberal compared to trump voters, and yet, I am a veteran, have always had guns and know how to use and care for them, and still feel that reasonable restrictions on guns doesn't infringe of Second Amendment Rights. I guess that makes me condescending and ignorant, eh?
