What is the situation on putting his business in a trust of sorts? Did that ever actually happen?

Suffice it to say, our ignorance remains his bliss.

Last I read, documents supporting shifting his business operations to a blind trust had not been filed with the various states, Trump was able to pull out money whenever he wanted, and one of his boys was insisting that he "only" spoke with his father on business matters on a quarterly basis.

Sounds like the press conference was as bogus as the stack of folders.

It's the same deal with his tax returns.

The saddest thing about this 'deal' ~ that is, for the American people ...

What we don't know can, in fact, hurt US.

Since absolutely no one else in the universe supported the accusation except the wandering con man Gregg Phillips with his voter-fraud app, can this accusation be officially moved from the "unsupported" into the "lie" category?
fair point wasn't there supposed to be a committee.? Maybe we need some mass write ins to CNN and MSNBC.... but not until there is less noise

There was supposed to be a committee but last I read, they had not recruited anyone willing to serve on it.

Plus, the wandering hustler Gregg Phillips was going to release the list of name of illegal voters just as soon as he finished fine tuning a few items on his app's algorithms. :roll eyes:

Perhaps the whole thing was, as they say, overcome by events.

It is unclear if this is the case.

"Dubious tax strategy" was the last I read about the strategy Trump tax experts used to turn the financial losses of others into his own tax deferment losses. It may well be why he is audited constantly.

Agree it's dubious! The LLC shell strategy alone adds complexity & requires closer scrutiny (thus the perpetual audit scenarios).

As the assistant professor at NYU's Institute of Real Estate out it, "He has a vast benefit from his destruction".

That's alright if you're the patriarch of a family boutique business (Trump Org with all its interlocking LLC shell companies). Alright when your only fiduciary responsibility is to your own family members.

As President of the US?

So the lies get worse and worse just to deflect from his Russia problems. Today we have the WH backing away from transparency. So they create some false line about prior Pres. and stop letting people know who is using the WH. This just reeks of fertilizer to me.

The POTUS has a problem and is looking more and more like the Nixon WH.

All to hide the failure to do anything to support the people who voted for him.

The historian who predicted Trump would win is now comparing him to Nixon in his disregard for the law and his penchant for secrecy.
