They were completely drubbed in the election. Have no control or influence in DC. And the looniest of them are crying and rioting in the streets because nobody is paying them attention anymore.
I'd say, their credibility is close to 0 right now.
Does it really not bother people that Trump is taking credit for something he had absolutely nothing to do with? I keep hearing the Dems called sheeple on this board but a lot of people seem happy to believe whatever Donny tweets out. Not sure how that works when he tweets contradictory things, but...

Saying he was "thinking about it" is really nothing compared to the original story and that was moving small car production to Mexico and that has not changed.

Never underestimate the power of misinformation on social media.
The Ky plant was NEVER at risk for closing. Trump did not save anything. Ford had previously intended to move production og 1 vehicle, the Lincoln MKC. The Union made clear that this was not going to cause the loss of a single job.
The US consumer has a preference for pick- up trucks, SUVs and crossovers. Ford continues to intend to move production of the Ford Focus to Mexico to better compete on price point with Honda and Toyota in both the US and off shore markets.
Ford has had offshore plants going back to the 20's. Ford has had operations in Mexico since the mid 60's and substantially expanded operations in the 80's.
Industrial robotics has and will continue to pose a far greater risk to US manufacturing jobs than offshoring.
