Elizabeth Warren did not ask Obama's pick about if they have experience with trillion or billion dollar grants getting handed out...and cutting out fraud...
Doesn't that make her a political hack?
She only cares about experience of handing out big grants/fraud/waste when it is a Republican? Look the other way when it is a Democrat without that experience!
And once again...no intelligent or logical response that can dispute the facts that Warren stated and the value and merit of the questions she put forth. How typical.
All these leftist losers have now is their delusion of importance.
They LOST and have no shot at stopping any nomination, so they can only show their displeasure by being insolent.
This will likely escalate. One can hope.
Not knowing the importance or difference between growth and proficiency?
Come on. She's not fit.
That she didn't know about the federal law protecting the rights of students with disabilities (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) ) is staggering.
She yammered on about leaving decisions for students with disabilities up to the states. I had to rewind it to make sure I hadn't misunderstood.
Mind boggling that a person up for Secretary of Education not only wouldn't know about the difference between growth and proficiency assessments or have a clue about the federal IDEA, but wouldn't have taken the time to study up. These were not obscure, trick questions.
Asking Mike Pompeo, nominee for CIA Director, about climate change is an appropriate line of questioning? Is asking Dr. Ben Carson, HUD nominee, for his views on gay rights an appropriate line of questioning?
Given that under both Bush and Obama the intelligence community has taken climate change very seriously, yes I think that the question was appropriate:
Evaluating climate change impacts is a critical component of the CIA’s mission. According to a September 2016 report prepared by the National Intelligence Council and coordinated with the U.S. intelligence community, “Climate change and its resulting effects are likely to pose wide-ranging national security challenges for the United States and other countries over the next 20 years.” As Harris mentioned, current CIA director John Brennan has also spoken to the importance of the agency accounting for climate change, stating in a 2015 speech that climate change is aggravating existing security problems and “is a potential source of crisis itself.”https://csis-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/s...ingSession.pdf
This is the question Brown asked him: Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio said to Carson, “You have in the past raised questions about whether LGBTQ people should enjoy the same rights as everyone else. Do you believe that HUD has a duty to take actions that promote equal access to housing opportunities for LGBTQ people?” Ben Carson: LGBT People Don't Deserve 'Extra Rights' | Advocate.com
And that was asked because HUD has a policy of equal access for LGBT: Living and aging in our communities without fear of discrimination became closer to reality on July 13, 2015. Coinciding with the White House Conference on Aging was the announcement by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) office. HUD issues guidance to help clarify that the 2012 Equal Access Rule prohibits discrimination in HUD programs based on sexual orientation and gender identity. This rule includes Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly, HUD mortgage and insured programs. https://promoonline.org/news/hud-ann...cess-rule.html
I take it that you agree-Warren's lying and claiming to be Native American for preferential treatment IS indeed racist. Right?
Why do you and others pretend that lies bother you and rock your sensibilities when obviously they do not.
