Have you ever heard a conversation with the first President Bush? I have and he has no Texas accent? His mother, no accent, his brothers, no accent, his sister- no accent. All are yankees who spent most of their life in the north.

I think President George Bush Jr's accent is phoney. It is just a way to make him seem like someone from the south, so he will seem more like a regular Joe. I would like to hear from people who understand accents. Is it possible President Bush's accent is real if none of his parents and siblings have an accent?

It's more authentic than Hillary Clinton's "black" accent, that's for sure. She sounds like Woody Guthrie with a cheek full of novocaine.

Laura Bush's is real, George's is fake. Doesn't sound like any other person raised in West Texas that I've ever met.

Some of us must be running out of things to bash our President about if it has come to this!

I think we have run out of bad-Bush threads. Perhaps a hiatus?

Why in god's name would anyone choose to talk like that? He sounds like an even bigger dumbass than he acts. It has to be real.

Yes, but why does anyone care, or care enough to make a fuss about it. I sound like I come from elsewhere, but I came from here.

What a lame thread this is. Of course his accent is real! Have you ever been to Texas? I lived there 20 years my friend and my accent moved with me.

A lot of people who grew up in West Texas sound just like George Bush Jr. Really.
