Absolutely. Lack of class and lack of manners. If they wished to have an honest conversation with Pence, they could have invited him backstage. Instead the decided to lecture him while asking everyone to video it. Looks like the members of that cast were poorly raised.
they didn't want a "conversation" the actors made a statement. pence and trump better toughen up in America we do have free speech.
How can saying that "while we want to show love, we are worried that your administration will literally destroy the planet and kill us" seem delicately worded?
That's liberal newspeak. A better speech would've been, "Pence, we have our differences but we hope that can unite to work on behalf of all Americans".
The supposed unity talk at the end of the speech was just put in to appease any criticism. What was controversial was the part about how Pence is part of a team that will destroy the planet.
I mean how alarmist and overly emotional. Typical liberals being triggered.
Candidate Trump suggested it might be a good idea to spread nuclear weapons to additional countries.

The actor claimed today on Twitter that it was a "conversation." But people rightfully pointed out that it was a rude lecture as he was the only one with a microphone.
The flaw in your argument is that most of Congress--even the Republicans who pretend to be so down with rural America--are actually part of the educated 'cultural elite' that Conservatives like to complain about. Which is why Pence was at a Broadway show in the first place.
No doubt. But that doesn't mean that when it comes axe time they care about funding the social stuff, or that they don't remember humiliations . Trump is the guy who sits up at 3 AM attacking people via Twitter he thinks slighted him, remember ?
“We, sir,” Mr. Dixon said, “we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights. We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us.”
And what rove thinks should have been said for the other side to be more persuasive and not come off as condescending and ineffective in getting the point across if positive action is really the goal here:
“We, sir, are the part of the diverse nation that is America. With the election now past, we all hope for your administration’s success in defending our planet, our children, and the inalienable rights of every American. We are grateful you came and hope this show inspires you as you work on behalf of all the people of our common country.”
That alternative reading would have been gracious, it would have conveyed all the same critical information and it would not have been highly offensive, ill-mannered and spectacularly inappropriate, as their actual statement clearly was.
What is wong with the American left these days that causes them to strive to constantly behave in such a remarkably uncivil and rude manner?

as far as I'm concerned it was a form of protest and have no problems with it. as I said Obama was heckled at a state of the union address, the new admin better toughen up if they get their panties in a bunch over a bunch of Broadway actors
Indeed, such behavior will, if anything, reinforce his negative views about certain groups.
No, not possible. Mr. Pence says that his views of homosexuals are Biblically based, & so are absolute. There is no reinforcing (or even disputing) an absolute view. You are insulting his stance on his God, theology, morality, et al. I'm sure he would like an apology.
That's if you take Mr. Pence's word on his views. He's the only one I know who can vouch for that, so I tend to take him @ his word. So should you, because he's apparently quite serious about what he believes, & what he's been called upon to do to our fair nation. (Look to Indiana - if you like what you see there, in the wake of Pence policies, practices, personnel choices, budget choices, & so on - you'll love what he has in mind for the rest of us.)
