That you can't see how rude and inappropriate it was to publicly lecture Pence in that setting just speaks to how little civility remains in urban society. Urban sophisticates may choose to look down upon us rural and small town folks but we still raise our children to have manners and be respectful of others. What happened in that theater was not respectful nor did it demonstrate good manners.

The cast of that show did not help their cause by behaving as they did but rather just turned the rest of us off. If there was something important that they were trying to say it was lost in the manner they conveyed the message.

For the reason of what the Hamilton actors did is why is passed to buy Barbra Streisand tickets as she is know for her political rants and she will be in Tampa next week.

She will probably rant how Florida didn't vote for Hillary to win.

Avoiding to buy tickets and having to deal with her political rant makes sure I won't regret going.

Sadly these so called progressives or liberals for which the latter word is now a label they want to run away from, is causing other people to choose other things to do.

He was mistreated and disrespected. At least invite after the show, on stage and have a Q &A session and let him have a discussion with cast and audience.

Vice President-elect Pence,

We welcome you and we truly thank you for joining us here at “Hamilton: An American Musical,†we really do.

We, sir — we — are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us. All of us.

We truly thank you for sharing this show, this wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men, women of different colors, creeds and orientations.
OMG the humanity! Those dirty word made my eyes bleed.

Now your guy is in the limelight and he's going get the same treatment!
Yep.
Eight years of non-stop insults and lies and then they chose to vote for the personification of their worst impulses.
And now have the nerve to expect tolerance.

Ah. No.

For real, if that is so disrespectful, perhaps they are the ones that are snowflakes needing safe places.

What a joke. It's gonna be a long 4 years, and they should start by taking Trumps Twitter account away, it will maybe save him some grief.

There is no law that says Presidential candidates have to release their tax returns. Why is the tax return thing such a big deal ? Even if he released them you wouldn't have voted for him anyways.
He won anyways so it doesn't matter.
