Does anyone know if it is true that DURING the show there was a song that was about hating the king and the main actor was practically singing it to Mike Pence and the audience picked up on it and started cheering!
If that account of the show was true then the whole show was just utterly disrespectful and spiteful. It shows how utterly trashy and classless liberals are. Then they want to virtue signal and play the victim afterward with their silly little speech.

Trump has not even taken office and is premptively criticized, no, accused.
Saying those words to pence is the same as if you yelled at someone you didn't know, to stop beating his wife.
They even quote Trump's words about inclusion and fired it back at him as if Trump never considered including everyone in his plans. Selective hearing.
that outburst from the stage was childlike naievete, a toddler wearing big boy pants who wants his nonsensical ramblings to be taken seroiusly.
Hope that show or at least that actor is boycotted.

My personal take is that it is very brilliant on the part of the actors who chose to take a personal jab at the VP elect to pizz off the 2nd in command of the party that controls the funding for arts in America . This will certainly make the GOP decide it needs to increase funding to people who choose to try and humiliate them in public when budget time comes around .
I will be interested in seeing what happens to federal funding to the arts when it comes up next .
Government funding for the arts should be zero no matter what they do or who they support.

The comparison you make is not a great example. Trump and Pence have not been inaugurated into office yet. The booing from the audience was contemptible, and the sanctimonious lecture was premature. They should have let the show's message speak for itself. Isn't it a good thing that Pence might value the show and its message? Why lecture the man afterward? Pence responded impeccably.
Obama has lied repeatedly and deflected/dismissed legitimate concerns:
I will have the most transparent administration in history.
I am focused like a laser on creating jobs.
The IRS is not targeting anyone.
It was a spontaneous riot about a movie.
I will put an end to the type of politics that "breeds division, conflict and cynicism."
I will restore trust in Government.
If you like it, you can keep your current healthcare plan.
