Bernie Sanders extended a peace offering to Trump, saying he will oppose him on many things but does what to work with him on helping the working class and fighting elitism. I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary, and at this point, regret not voting for him in the general. He's my representative. I frankly don't give a damn what others are saying. CNN means nothing to me.

Also, Dave Chappell, a celebrity who I'd say is probably a liberal but not overly political made a comment about the election that I agree with: that he wants to give Trump a chance.

I believe the "left" (which isn't a thing) is changing. Bernie Sanders instigated something pretty big. Liberal millennials are finding it hard to identity with the current liberal establishment. There's a shift away from American Modern Liberalism into European style Democratic Socialism. I'm sure it will become Americanized overtime and some, possibly quite large, distinctions between Europe's and American's style will occur. If the conservatives are smart, they'd start by keeping them in check. Look at what objectively failed in Europe and point this out to the new liberals while showing some willingness to discuss ideas that could work, even if they don't fully agree. Remember, compromise is necessary and if you vote for people because they are uncompromising, I hope you get hit by a bus. Discussion and compromise leads to better results than one party winning. It's a shame so few seem to think that anymore.

i agree that the social leftists are pitching a fit, but I can't say it's any worse than the right-wing reaction to Obama.

He won the electoral vote, not the popular vote, and he did it with Russian shenanigans and FBI interference.

Besides internet articles or posts... show me anything the right did to compare to what you are seeing now.

Good luck

Yes it is.

The people on the right were upset, but maintained control of themselves and respected the process.

The people on the left seek to change the process... they have committed assaults on Trump supporters... there are paid protesters... they are inciting kids to participate in these protests... there is no control or boundaries with this group right now.

Yes - they are anti- Obama... but that's all talk and information.

Not disruptive protests.... not assaults on private citizens just because they have a certain hat on... not whining to change the process because they did not get what they want...

God help us. No socialist country has ever survived - ever. Just look at what is happening in Europe right now and entire countries are going bankrupt.
