Interesting, Mexico has very strict border control with other countries, even before Donald Trump campaign, but they do not like it when Donald Trump wants a wall between our borders.

Mexico is nationalist and ethnocentric while demanding the US not be in the least, you say? Shocking.

Undocumented workers crossing into the USA are Mexico's most profitable export. Of course Mexico is going to object to anything that slows that export down.

Multiple millions of undocumented workers sending money home to their families adds up to a heck of a lot of money flowing back into Mexico

During the Bush years, Mexico and US worked on building the Southern wall to prevent drug cartels from getting drugs into Mexico. Which also helped the Mexican drug cartels against the Columbian drug lords.

Net flow of Mexicans since 2007 has been to Mexico. Million people have left the US to return home. There is still no net flow from Mexico into the US.

At this point most Mexicans are here permanently.
