Romney would be better at it that others whose names have been bandied about. Romney is inoffensive and diplomatic and has knowledge of foreign affairs, I believe. Although he's never worked in a national position to have in depth knowledge of foreign affairs.

I'm going with there was never any intention to offer him a job but his advice is being sought on some picks Trump is considering or suggestions Romney may have in the private sector (business and finance) and not for Secretary of State.

I do think he will be selected and will not only will he do an excellent job, but will prove to the Trump doubters that Trump is serious about changing Washington and the world..
It is shaping up to be a winning team. Trump is the real deal and America will be the winner for it..
I love to see enemies come together for the good of the party and the good of America.

As the business of this country goes on! He would make a great Sec of State. Guess what it would not be a business venture like the HRC made it!
