There is nothing for Trump to answer for, he never said he planned to have a muslim registration program.
Really?

"Donald J. Trump, who earlier in the week said he was open to requiring Muslims in the United States to register in a database, said on Thursday night that he “would certainly implement that — absolutely.”

Mr. Trump was asked about the issue by an NBC News reporter and pressed on whether all Muslims in the country would be forced to register. “They have to be,” he said. “They have to be.’’

When asked how a system of registering Muslims would be carried out — whether, for instance, mosques would be where people could register — Mr. Trump said: “Different places. You sign up at different places. But it’s all about management. Our country has no management.’’"

How many time does this nonsense have to be debunked?

In Context: Donald Trump's comments on a database of American Muslims | PolitiFact

The next day, an MSNBC reporter asked Trump, "Should there be a database or system that tracks Muslims in this country?"

"There should be a lot of systems," Trump responded. "Beyond databases. I mean, we should have a lot of systems."

Trump then digressed to talk about a wall along the southern border, before the reporter interjected, "But that’s something your White House would like to implement."

"I would certainly implement that. Absolutely," Trump said.

We know that he is mostly full of **** about anything he says, but do not deny that he said it despite the fact that it was probably just his usual shameless pandering to a dumbed-down audience.

From your linked article: "After going through all of his comments from this past weekend, it seems that Trump definitely wants a database of Syrian refugees, and he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a database for all Muslims -- though he isn’t actively calling for the latter. And we’ll warn you now that many of Trump’s comments strike us as contradictory or confusing."

If the registration is based on Country of origin, then they are already registered. (this is how they found all the Japanese in west coast during ww2) If the registration is based on last name, then they are already registered. (this is how they found all the Japanese in west coast during ww2) Based on religion? Good luck with that. You'd better hook them up to Lie detectors.

A man is having his nose measured by the Nazi police police to decide whether or not he is Jew. Hitler had a stereotype that Jewish noses are larger than Aryan noses. How do you decide if a Muslim is a Muslim? By measuring what? the size of their hands? LOL

If it is islam mosque patrolling, it makes little sense. Other than that, I don't know what this whole Muslim registration really means.
