So, the actions of those who can't control themselves should affect everyone?
People literally eat themselves to death too, you want to ban food too?
We should all be happy you're not running the government.
Unfortunately it's usually the fringes of any action in life that requires intervention to protect the majority ..which is why law was created..to ensure order
All drugs alter mentation..stoners are no different..it is their ACTIONS that create so much discord and push back..and in the case of California at least six newly vested agencies to control marijuana
Cites were rarely written for possession...growing for medicinal use was already codified
Now we have one of the largest government bureaucracies in the world
All the cars are new in the parking lot..and there are several hundred..
Some of the agencies have never dealt with marijuana behavior before and watch how stupid they get...
13 licenses...they get spendy my friend...inspections inspections inspections
How many 100 k salaries like mine are getting paid..a bunch
Puking yet?..if not from pot from the dysfunction created
Grannysix plant now the law..and even with that cities are further restricting how when and where..that gets really spendy for the average user...
Of course a gym membership..yoga class..and a dunkn donuts coffee would be way better (although I don't touch the stuff)..potheads refuse to acknowledge thatt

Well, when something personally effects you in a way like that it's pretty easy to fall into absolutism. I agree that personal choices do have consequences, but when a loved one dies in such a way, emotions rule the roost. I have such emotional views on certain violent crime. At any rate, nothing is absolute. Not even personal choice.

The dysfunction isn't created by pot but by the Reefer Madness BS and the sheeple who follow it. But nice job if conveniently closing your eyes (and mind) to that.

Will you be the guinea pig that is affected
Like playing with a loaded gun..risk vs reward..for many potheads the reward of being high vastly outweighs the risks
Not sure why everyone is bothered by these threads.
For example, it's not like Fred Phelps actually hindered gay rights with his absurd outbursts....arguably he helped because people would look at the outlandish claims and arguments and be turned off by them.

Big difference.
Do you know how many quack doctors are out there prescribing opiates by the hundreds of pills every month to so called patients with pain problems.?? it's at epidemic levels!!! pot is not physically addicting like opiates, the legalization of pot would mean less people being addicted to opiates..
people like you have been fully brainwashed. nothing I can do for you but you and people like you should stop spouting hyperbole fear mongering lies..

It does affect everyone. Something stoners don't get.
