What is it you don't get about conflict of interests?

This is what is going to trip him up, violate the Constitution and get him impeached, if he does not liquidate. Emoluments Clause.

"...At the time of his most recent disclosure statement in May, Trump owned $100,000 to $250,000 of stock in Phillips 66, which has a 25 percent stake in the Dakota Access project..."

Donald Trump officially backs Dakota pipeline, says it
It's all a smoke screen. They supposedly put their investments in a "secret trust". They know what they are invested in.

Hit piece from ABC News. Same organization who said that Trump wasn't a Real Candidate.

Who cares if Trump invested in it. Lots of people did.

Do you dems even know what a conflict of interest is? I would guess not because you dems said the Clintons had no conflict of interest with their pay for play.

Trump has no conflict of interest because he isn't making any decisions on the pipeline. Heck, Trump may not even own any of that stock anymore.

You dems are really embarrassing yourselves.

Some of my mutual funds have money in that company, too. *shrug* And I am not fully in favor of the Dakota pipeline. I think it is dirty that it was re-routed to down river of Bismark. Makes me doubt the claim of its' infallible safety, or even being reasonably safe. Personally concerning as I have family and friends who would be horridly affected by a spill.

Trump is not dictator-elect.

We should always be in contact with our legislators expressing our views, and hopefully backing them up with readable data, regardless of who is in the White House.

This was already decided in the courts and is only being upheld because the Obama administration injected themselves into it. They went and changed the rules literally right after the court ruling. Any action Trump takes on this will put it back onto a normal track.
