I'm with you progressives on this issue.

We get tech types from overseas that work for less $$$$ than our own citizens. A real win

Being a citizen is a requirement to join Federal law enforcement agencies, except on the bizarre world of CBS where every TV team has a foreigner who magically naturalizes his citizenship after being a liason officer to the FBI's BAU and NCIS.

Now how can the government will decide that their citizens only FBI Agent will be enforcing the order that a local Sheriff's Deputy may be a permanent resident and not a citizen.

Exactly it is bizarre that the Feds are going to set a requirement that they don't live by so the citizen only law enforcers are going to force the county to hire non citizens.

They might be afraid that if local governments fight them which greater penalties would compeal that the US Supreme Court might eventually force the Department of Justice to hire non citizen Federal Agents. Do as I say not as I do because we are the Feds should not stand given our system
