So, cosmetic companies shouldn't try to sell their products to certain groups of people?
But that ad is not targeting Muslims or the miniscule trans woman market. It's aimed at white millennial feministettes who think trans and hijabs are cool. At the same time it works as propaganda to lead them toward that point of view.

and that's not a viable market? Why is it ok to market towards Muslims or trans women but not to millennial feministettes who think trans and hijabs are cool.
If you preach that business has the right to turn away customers for religious reasons, then you also need to accept that other businesses have a right to operate as they see fit. That includes marketing towards groups/customers you might not care for.
I refuse to believe this hypocritical stance is the platform for which the GOP now stands for?
Yeah, funny how wearing an Hijab and covering is about modesty according to the Quran, but wearing sexy looking makeup Somehow escapes claims of modesty.
Exactly.
I'll wear a hijab so men don't look at me and get attracted to me but I'll wear make up that makes me more beautiful and will make more men attracted to me

Many women are very attractive wearing a hijab, there are many different styles and different cultural and religious differences that come with hijab that doesn't fit into western stereotypes.

I'm not saying it's wrong to market to whoever, just trying to get at what is actually happening there. Like I said, they are both aiming at that group and creating it at the same time. I don't believe the only motivation is profit. The people funding and producing the ads want to be seen doing their part to create a world in which both transsexuals and hijab wearing Muslims are seen as cool.
Young, dumb, white women shouldn't be the ONLY peoples ripped off and manipulated by the beauty industrial complex. Let every moronista and their money get taken for the fool! Fair is fair, I see nothing wrong with this.

Businesses are not allowed to create market?
They do it all the time by introducing new ideas and innovations. Damn Magnavox... they introduced the concept of home gaming consoles AND tried to sell them at the same time....in 1970s. They should be held accountable!
