Why do you limit yourself to Western country? The rest of the world not matter.

Oh yes... exclusion makes for an easier debate stance...

You are arguing against a stance that I'm not making .. btw....

The most interesting thing about Mohammed was that when he first went to Mecca, he preached love and kindness.

That is the first part of the Koran... the part that Muslim apologists use to say, "Islam is peace!".... only problem is, after years and years preaching love and kindness, he had very few followers. Only a few dozen.

He then moved to Medina, and became the fire-and-brimstone preacher and warlord. Suddenly "love they neighbor" became "kill the infidel" and the religion grew exponentially as it spread through war and murder.

So it went from good to bad, and the newer parts of the Koran abrogate the older ones. The opposite of how the newer parts of the bible (the nice New Testament) abrogates the nasty stuff of the Old Testament.

But anyway, it's the 21st century now and if social justice warriors had any moral consistency they would denigrate Mohammed the way they do someone like Christopher Columbus - as a genocidal, slave mongering kiddy diddler.

I do not believe Christian (or any) religious mythology, but anyone who thinks "all religions are equally bad" is a flat out idiot with no sense of history or perspective. Islam just doesn't lead to positive social outcomes that progressives usually care about. The empirical evidence is available in over 50 Muslim-majority nations.

As long as neither side accepts their short comings of their own religion.. both religious stances will be naturally divisive.
I see shortcomings in all religions but that does not preclude me from making accurate judgements about Islam.

Christians have indulged in both, except I'm not sure any cages were stolen, so there's that.
