it amazes me that everyone on both sides of the isle are pointing fingers at the other side and claiming they are racist. one thing i have learned over the years is that those that protest loudly against something are probably exactly what they are protesting against. for instance, those that scream racism the loudest, are most likely the biggest racists.
May I ask how you can make the argument that someone who voted against the CRA was in any way an advocate for "free men?"
why not ask LBJ since he voted against the very civil rights act in 1957 that he eventually signed in 1964. the reason he did was that he didnt want a republican being given credit for the civil rights act, even though he truly opposed it except on political grounds.

And shame on him for that. My question still stands.
*Update. I should have checked the facts, and not assumed your post was either knowledgeable or truthful.

Reason: Failed to fact-check. Shame on me.
OP you see this on CD frequently too. The dummy heads probably got a Facebook post on it that day and decided to post it. Nice to know who originated that meme now
I'm calling on all democrats to disavow all identity advocacy groups almost all on the left.
No more of this if anything is remotely white identity advocate then it's considered Nazism, but if it it's non-white identity advocacy it's diversity and celebrate!

The truth is, neither party today is what it used to be 50 years ago nor are the people of this country overall as biased and racist as they used to be and of course that's a good thing. Peoples attitudes changed and people grow. It doesn't matter how one party voted 50 years ago on anything. Most of those people are dead.
His post was based on many of the right wingers on this site claiming democrats are the "real" racist.
The worst part is, there are some openly(as in they describe themselves as) racist on this site, and they all say they are conservative with the exception of one socialist.

You might have hit on a general truth but I disagree with you in the specific case of the racism accusation. My reason for this is because the racism accusation is not just an accusation, it is a weapon, and in some ways a violent one. When you call someone a racist you are not just saying you think that person is a racist you are saying that you intend to take away that person's social standing, his current employment and his prospects for future employment...essentially his ability to feed his children. When you aim such a weapon at a person you give that person no choice but to respond in an extreme manner for his own survival's sake. When that person responds by throwing the accusation back at you it is not because he is not only a racist but a super duper racist, it is because he is trying to return the threat to you in the hopes that you will back off from your own accusation if the high stakes are no longer flowing in only one direction.

You are dead wrong.
There is a lot said about LBJ,One of those things is about his idea of race. I cant remember where I read it, but it basically said, LBJ was a private racist, but always publicly supported equality.

Who describes themselves as racist? What about all the anti-white racism on this site and they all say they are liberal, progressive?
