That's the thing though. Any call for the nation to retain some sovereignty in the face of overwhelming globalization is instantly scorned as being "racist" and "xenophobic", as if people are talking about race and not purely economics.
We make it an economic issue but they make it a racial issue when it doesn't even make sense in context.
All they have is identity politics on the mind 24/7.
It's because it doesn't affect them like it does for people in the middle class.
The point is that for all praise Clinton was given in the media and all the gloating she couldn't even muster the same states and counties that voted for Obama. That's a darn shame. Doesn't make Trump any less of a winner for winnng his base
I didn't say he was "any less of a winner". I said she was a terrible choice for the Democrats.
You do seem a little sensitive and defensive to me. Do you need a therapy dog?
It's because it doesn't affect them like it does for people in the middle class.
You're right. They don't feel it. The Dems have become the corporate party. I mean I knew something was up when a bunch of Wall ST bankers rooted for her. Since when has it been cool for an I-banker to vote Democrat? That's what I call a sell out party.
Clinton I believe is even in favor or at least mildly supportive of H1B visas. So even white collar managerial jobs mean nothing to her.
And why am I only talking to people such as you katy who already know this? LOL.
Why don't the libs and progressives ever respond when this is brought up? Do they seriously not know this?
You got that right. I know for a fact that the people of Long Island(you don't even have to go all the way out to the Hamptons) will pay whatever real estate taxes are necessary to keep their schools as white as possible.
If it's a fact, then you can prove it. If you can't, then it's not a fact.
I'm from Long Island. He's right. My "proof" is that I grew up with a sense of hearing.
So you say. Your possibly-concocted anecdotes of "hearing" don't constitute proof.
If you don't have any evidence, just say so.
