Castro was better because he used torture, imprisonment and death too, but it was for the greater good.

If you want to be the "good guys" of the world, you have to be consistent. You have to stop excusing or overlooking other regimes just because they're cooperative with Corporate America's agenda.
Saudis can come and go as they please. Saudis don't drive hacked-together '53 Chevys. Saudis have marinas with yachts moored in them, and on and on.

Does that make Castro a virtuous man as many in this thread are trying to portray him? He was a POS and the world is a better place today.

OTH, if the House of Saud falls, there would be an exponentially worse mess in Saudi Arabia than there is now. So we have the choice of a brutal regime or full blown extremist Wahhabism. Pick your poison, it's your backyard, not mine.

Why do liberals love Castro so much?
Being gay was in imprisionable offense, freedom of assembly is illegal, doctors are required to keep a file on a family's "political integration", health care is at the discretion of the government (the government decides your treatment plan, not the patient), university options are dependant upon a students integration with Marxist ideology..., but hey...free healthcare.

Because liberals hate America, Christianity, and capitalism.
