"Remember all the news reports suggesting, without evidence, that the Clinton Foundation’s fund-raising created conflicts of interest? Well, now the man who benefited from all that innuendo is on his way to the White House. And he’s already giving us an object lesson in what real conflicts of interest look like, as authoritarian governments around the world shower favors on his business empire..."

Coincidentally, this op-ed was in the NY Times this morning. Read the rest of Krugman's piece:

What a surprise, Krugman doing another Trump hit piece.

The fact is it was a big conflict of interest. Question was whether it was illegal or not. Bill collecting donations from world leaders and then Hillary making deals with them at the State Department. Even HC admitted there was a lot of smoke but in her opinion no fire. At the very least it was run in a careless manner.

We will let the new congress and Attorney General decide that. Krugman can do little more than whine in his op-ed pieces.

Many donors to Clinton Foundation met with her at State

There were State department employees also moonlighting at the Clinton Foundation. And her aide Huma was deeply involved in both.

Hillary Clinton

The hard truth is that millions of voters bit hard on the baloney being served up by a big BS merchant.

If you were buying what Trump was selling, then it's on you as much as it is on him. Because so much of his steamy rhetoric was so over the top that even he didn't believe was he was spouting. He's a sales guy and always has been. He'll promise anything to close the deal.

Delivering on promises has ever been something he was very good at. Just witness the long line of contractors he's shorted over the decades. And that's why he keeps an army of lawyers employed full time to help cover his tracks.

That's his lifelong record. All those hoping that he's now a changed man are just deluding themselves.

Not after reading all the comments, "good, bad and ugly." And it isn't just one video and they aren't all just 15 seconds!

Haters will hate, and the ignorant will remain ignorant.

We will see how he follows through. I won't judge his progress fully until next election cycle.
Yes, and fortunately Obama managed what so many before him could not, instituting a break from the status quo despite the formidable defense of entrenched special interests. Now for us to hope all politicians listen to what it will take to continue that progress rather than go backwards, like the barbaric practice of denying people with pre-existing conditions to have access to health care...

Good new , The wall will be built and Mexico has agreed to build it. The bad news is it will extend from Northern California to the Northern border of Texas.

I have learned enough to know you have to follow through on the crap you promise.. I don't think he will though as he is already going back on everything.

Obama would have been 4 and done if Romney wasn't such a crappy candidate and the Republicans would have picked someone worth a hoot
He's not adopting "liberal" agendas, he's throwing a bone to his opponents in the Republican and the Democratic parties to get them off his back for a while. The real work will be done through people like Stephen Bannon to drive through his ultra right authoritarian agenda, and through Twitter to keep whipping up frenzy in his rural/blue collar red state base.
