Do their supporters want us to turn into Europe? Do they want free stuff? Hate capitalism?

The problem with pure capitalism is that there are more losers than winners. The problem with pure socialism is that motivation can dwindle.

What us Bernie supporters want is a middle ground

I saw no appeal in any of the 5:

Trump blowhard
Clinton bureaucrat
Sanders career delusional
Stein airhead
Johnson... I don't even know

I like Sanders because you know who he is. He's been supporting the same causes his whole life. And he's a Jewish guy from Brooklyn :-)

Agreed.

China is or was what happened when the bad parts of capitalism and socialism were mixed together. OTOH: Sweden and most of modern Europe is the other way; the best of both systems IMHO.

China is the one of the most capitalistic countries to date. Unless you're talking about China from the 1960s and before that time.

Huge disparities of wealth and income causes the political system to be hijacked by a tiny ultra rich elite.

We have to choose; either massive income and wealth inequality or democracy.

Bernie Sanders is on the side of democracy. Not serving the interests of the donors and lobbyists that want to crush the 99% and increase inequality further.

The young are idealists and will grow out of it. The old Bernie supporters were losers who wanted free stuff paid from the labor of others.
