Okay, you're right. Let's just put the government in control of everything. Let's not even bother with elections. Let's scrap our entire system and go with the rest of the world. After all, they are so much better off than we are.

Do you consider a system where a handful of billionaires pick which candidates are "viable" and bankroll the elected representatives? Is this democracy? Or oligarchy?

They are going to "fix" the system that allowed a black man to be POTUS and nearly allowed a woman to be POTUS. To them, that is broken.

For real? Just as a matter of interest, we're you raised in America, or at least in the West?

Billionaires rule for one and the only reason - critical numbers of the commoners envision themselves in their place and those folks are willing to stand neck deep in the oligarchical sewage to have a chance on joining the fleecing class. It makes no sense to inconvenience and burden top 1% + if you plan your meteoric rise to join the guys.

Anyhow, we should insist on knowing Trump' net worth to figure out his ROI on the presidency in 4 years. The fact that it is not an issue for the right just tell that those guys are ok with monarchy/dictatorship/oligarchy whatever system where it's impolite and dangerous to ask the anointed rulers that question, there is no money too big to secure their heaven inspired leadership. But rest assured, the right leaning folks, given an opportunity, would do full audit of $100 worth of foodstamps, what is allowed to jupiter is not allowed to the bull.

Very little has changed.

The average hourly wage for a CEO in the US $106.11/hour or $220,700 annually.

You focus only on compensation for the Fortune 500 CEOs, which represents about 2.5% of all business/corporate CEOs.

Actually, everything changed in the 1970s when sports figures and entertainers starting getting paid $Million salaries, but never mind reality.

Those might be only smiles you'll have going forward-unless you're one of those that only has theirs due to a rigged game in their favor-probably why you're all jolly now. Sad is the man that cant win with a level playing field.

Until he takes office all you or me can do is speculate. The problem with our Presidential election is that we would never even get any chance to run; we don't have the funds. Trump got that chance because he did have the funds to fight the system. Heck; he had richer billionaires fighting him at every turn - like Soros. Now you are playing sour grapes because he is rich; if he wasn't he would be on the outside, like us, looking in!

Just like the right the past 8 years-

Sad thing is-you already ARE like that. I can;t believe the TRumpers here actually believe that he'll do all those great things he promised. They sure called out Obama on that, but give Pumpkin Man a pass
