Oh, I like quaint. Plus I hear the people there are delightful. Not ruined by consumerism.

Well, not many of us have an easy passing....... only in old movies. Whatever his end was like, I guess it was better than what many here wished on him huh?

A 57 Chevy only on the outside and interior. The rest is old Soviet tractor parts and homemade bits.

Most seem to be four doors, generally not too desirable.

Good Lord, you're comparing, with a straight face I presume, a murderous dictator to Trump?

Are you in academia by chance?

Nonsense.

Sorry man, but that just ain't true. Cubans are provided enough to keep from starving.

But like you, they like to enjoy life and things. And most cannot.

As a consequence, you have mass prostitution, endless begging, hustling of tourists, and petty theft in abundance.

Humans like to consume. Never forget when the Berlin Wall came down, the Ossis all rushed to the department stores.

Funny thing when people are free to obtain what they want. They are better off though, tell those pesky slaves to sit down and shut up, only to expect the handouts their masters give them. Better to have equal misery for all than individual merit to establish ones success.

Once the US gets back in there, build those Wal-Marts high! It'll be fun on the first Black Friday, watching Cubans fight over televisions huh?

Ya can't beat consumerism. They'll soon get into the swing of things........

Wal-Marts? Horrors! Much better to have state owned stores with virtually nothing on the shelves.
