Fidel Castro was a childhood hero of Obama's.

Interesting. Where did you read/hear/see that?

If this is true, meh. Children often don't have the intellectual capacity to understand the complexities of international politics. A young Obama may have admired the fact that Castro helped lead a revolution of the poor over the powerful. Its a Robin Hood type of story. Not until we are older/more educated can we truly grasp what a terrible man Castro was.

Forget how Amnesty International labels him. I'ts all a misunderstanding.

Because he was a ruthless dictator who persided over the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Cubans, abolished civil rights, participated in torture, and condemned Cuba to decades of poverty.

Dems/Libs are fascists and always support tyrants who oppose individual liberties and political freedom.

It is very amusing when liberals claim that they do not support fascist tyrants, yet these threads always appear!

Wow another poster here that gets it.

Hopefully people can start opening their eyes on how our Government has been slowly but surely slipping in to increase it's power and influence over the populace's life.

A dependent populace is a populace easy to control.

The exception proves the rule.

Witness on this thread (as well as two others) the liberal praise for a ruthless dictator.

Liberals are fascists at heart and defend mass murderers and tyrants such as Mao, Lenin, Stalin, Che, Pol Pot, and Castro.

Libs just love dictators who oppress their own population and limit civil rights. That is additionally why libs are Muslim apologists; despite Muslim nations imposing medievil "rules" of conduct on thier own citizens. liberals LOVE them, as they are allies against Christianity.

Liberalism = Fascism

His big mistake was not being our brutal dictator, we have NO problem with them when they do our bidding, Pinochet being a prime example.
