Yep,

Trump is going (promised) to roll back all that the previous president has done with relations to Cuba.

USA tour companies will lose.
Businesses initiating businesses in Cuba will lose.
Banking, finance, auto parts suppliers, and on and on will lose.

Will Trumps rollback be another Trump promise not kept?

I would view it as a negative for Trump if he followed through. Castro's death will make it easy for him to back away gracefully, even though I think that was the plan all along. Trump was looking to shore up the old guard Cuban vote in Miami when he spewed that stuff.

Normalization of relations with Cuba should not occur until every single person in that country with a warrant for their arrest for crimes committed in the US is extradited.

In the end,

The only leaders in the world who paid Obama any attention were tinpot dictators like Castro and the religious zeolite in Iran whom Obama appeased. I'm surprised that Obama didn't go and kiss Kim Jung Un's ass like Clinton and Bill Richardson.

I think Trump should roll back the bribes paid to the Castro brothers, but also agree that if Cuba still wants to normalize relations, it's up to them. The embargo crap, created by another Democrat President, should be eliminated.

Of course it will. President elect $elf Dealer sees Cuba as one big golf course. The dollar signs in his eyes will win as they always do.

I guess your selective vision would preclude you from mentioning how many Republican Presidents that embargo was sustained by.

Trump favored the U.S. doing business with the Castro regime, but took a hard right turn during the election in order to attract votes in FL. Looks like there are at least two GOP factions in conflict on this. Although there are now direct flights to Cuba, the ban on tourism remains on the books.

Quote:
The Senate Appropriations Committee adopted, by voice vote, an amendment to a fiscal 2017 spending bill that would lift the travel ban.

A stand-alone measure from Sens. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) and Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) to lift Cuban travel restrictions has 51 cosponsors, while a companion bill in the House garnered 130 cosponsors.

“These changes are widely popular in the electorate, and support is growing across the country and in Congress,” Russak said.

But there is still staunch opposition in the Republican-led Congress, including from prominent lawmakers like Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
