Seriously, in what way is this a good idea? If he flip flops on this because someone supports a recount that will simply validate his win, its a clear signal that he is acting out of childishness, not out of a desire to act like a president. And once the prosecution is clearly politically motivated, it makes us a third world country.
In other words...this is about the recount, not the crime. This is a horrible idea. Why am I not surprised?

What country do you live in where being a politician is a guaranteed get out of jail free card? Being a current or former ANYTHING shouldn't prevent someone from going to jail if they're convicted, and Hillary has already admitted to enough that would get any normal person convicted just for her incompetent handling of classified documents.

This is a good point. Hillary conceded and said that Trump won but now she is pursuing this fruitless effort with Stein. So Trump should likewise counter with taking back his word to leave her alone.

Yes but as unpredictable as Trump is, his cabinet is pretty consistent. Considering that Trump is more going to be the face of a right wing populist movement, I'd say his cabinet will pretty much keep his promises for him despite his intentions.
