Those that are loyal to Trump without any issues have gotten positions. People like Guliani and Christie didn't get the job they want because both have issues that probably the Trump kids objected.

Trump usually decides by committee true to his show The Apprentice.

I was hoping he can get Romney only to fire him later on.

Which would be a good thing would it not? Those who voted for Trump let it be known that they wanted no part of Romney so Trump listened and turned him away.

Or Trump's plan all along was to get some payback for Romney calling him a con man. String him along for a while then pull the rug out from under him. Like Lucy and Charlie Brown with the football. If Romney had half a brain he would have seen it coming.
