I think Trump is throwing cards out there, but not actually showing his hand...he said it in one of the first debates, (if not the first) during the campaign for the nomination, that you never lay everything out on the table, especially at the beginning.
So why would he, suddenly, be laying it out on the table? I think he's playing people. His supporters need to have more faith in him.
Sooo... double down on a bad hand?
Brilliant.
He's laying it out there. He likes to pretend that running the US is a reality show. He has sullied the office of President of the United States with his insipid Twitter rants.
He's disgusting.
I guess keep right on hoping, but I can tell you now that he's not going to get better. Just worse.

Problem is... they elected another person who says one thing and does another. So, the real difference is the one that counts... he knows nothing about running a country, appearing to be a respectable US leader, or just being respectable and polite, period.
He's a master manipulator. No doubt that he can turn on the charm when he wants to just like he can be a tyrant when he thinks that will benefit him. Zero integrity, zero credibility candidate - now a zero integrity, zero credibility President.
I wouldn't say it's zero credibility....yet anyway. If he can pull his charm with world leaders as much as it works for him personally, then I'd rather him be on our side other than the other way around.
so I guess you feel the same about President Obama's first choice of Hillary Clinton
None of the stuff you posted are near as bad as the comments that Romney made about Trump. Never mind that Clinton and Obama were running against each other while Romney's comments weren't a part of his own campaign.
Then of course Trump called Romney the biggest loser or some such. Perhaps if they really don't mean those things, they shouldn't say those things.
People are sick and tired of "political savvy". Political savvy is saying one thing and doing the other. The people who voted for Trump want absolutely nothing to do with Romney. I didn't vote for Trump and I want nothing to do with Romney.
The shape the country is in should have made that obvious.
It's in a lot better shape than it was when Obama took office. I realize that economic anxiety (among other things) got Trump elected, but Obama inherited the worst financial collapse since the Great Depression.

Being that we are now in 5 wars, I disagree. We left crap and entered into more crap.

Does this mean you prefer Giuliani to Romney?
No, both are equally as bad. But you probably knew that before asking.
So we got into 5 wars because our diplomats are too nice to people?
You can come to whatever conclusion you want. What we have been doing is not working so the answer is not to look to those who are a part of the political establishment.

Is there something wrong with you I should know about before I waste any more of my time?
If you want to make it about me then please, do not waste more time.
