Your argument is that because criminals will get them anyway then we should just legalize it?

So you are for legalizing crack?
I could care less if crack is legal. Just because it's legal doesn't mean I would use it, and just because it's illegal doesn't mean that I couldn't get it. Giving criminals the advantage over law abiding citizens isn't the "right thing".

I'll be ok for giving those people access to guns, with safety measure implemented and insurance mandatory.
.
Unfortunately for you those restrictions would violate our Constitution.

Before he was shot dead while attempting to murder a bunch of people with a car and a butcher's knife, Ohio State University student Abdul Artan—a Pakistani immigrant who reportedly became radicalized after learning about injustices committed against fellow Muslims—was enrolled in a class called "Crossing Identity Boundaries."

In fact, he had a group project on "microaggressions" due later this week. The assignment, worth 15 percent of his grade, required students to find a dozen examples of microaggressions on social media and explain which identity groups were the victims, according to the syllabus.

VITAL TO DISARM
=\=\=\=\=\=\=
THE LEFT can never have an efficient totalitarian police state, when it has to be “benevolent” and fearful of millions of armed citizens. And you can’t disarm millions of armed citizens when they won’t tell you where the arms are. And you can’t arrest them until you criminalize their disobedience to “reasonable” gun restrictions and “common sense” registration. And you can’t tolerate their belief that they have an “endowed right” to self defense against tyranny, that supersedes your political power of the bigger gun.
• An Armed Populace Fears No Government.
• A Disarmed Populace Fears All Government.

Liberals are not stupid! They fear their victims shooting back at them.

The mosque’s director, Ahmed Sh. Ahmed, said Artan’s mother wept as she kissed her son’s body and believes he was innocent.

“She was crying, and said, ‘I love you, my son. I know they kill you for no reason,'” Ahmed said.

She actually believed this? What are these ...people...even doing in our country? How is it they have even been allowed inside our borders? And there are those out there saying we need to just throw open our doors and let them in no questions asked. Even to the point of allowing illegals all the rights of full, legal citizenship. Just because they are on our soil does not grant anyone any rights. You need to be a citizen to get those otherwise you're NOTHING.

It's also interesting how DHS isn't all over this fleabags family. If he were a member of some constitutionalist patriot organization doors would be getting kicked in on all his friends and family with Ninjas piling out of blacked out SUVs. But ties to ISIS don't warrant such...concern. After all his friends and family are grieving. I'm sure there's no thoughts of any retaliation for the "murder" of their son, friend...comrade in arms maybe? Such suspicions are racist right?

A terrorist is a terrorist. These radical Islamist motivated attacks are coming more and more frequently and will continue to do so. Attacks involving multiple attackers with well planned and well armed execution are coming. Make no mistake. Those who think it can't/won't happen here are deluded. Those who believe that we need to show tolerance, understanding and whatever other fawning, patronizing attitude is in vogue right now and by doing so mitigate these Islamists desire to kill us are even more deluded. Solidarity? Spare me.

These hyenas understand one thing. Force returned tenfold for force offered. They understand heads on spears and not much else. The only fear they really have is not getting they're "eternal reward'" as a martyr. That's a hard enemy to fight. Reference the Phillipine Moro insurrection. If seeing what ISIS is doing as we speak isn't enough. Playing pattycake with these people is a serious mistake.
