You mean the guy who looks like Liam Neeson with a beard?

Yeah sure. I heard he was big in the 60s.

He drove out a murderous dictator, servants of said dictator, and the Mafia and Robber Barons. Then, he approached the US trying to move forward to a better future. What did he get? President Eisenhower running to the golf course to avoid him......... Things could have been so different.

Perhaps you don't know why Democrats had no problem with the demise of Gaddafi

If Republicans are fine with what Gaddafi did, that's quite a change since Reagan, who detested him, but good to know.

Same reasons they deposed Saddam and trying to depose Assad

But when Hillary laughed at the demise of Gaddafi, suddenly Republicans were sympathetic, which was stunning. They were defending a murderous dictator just so they could oppose Hillary.

Most if not all developing countries have political prisoners, and Cuba is just one of the developing countries.
I wonder if they have more political prisoners than Russia, Iran, Turkey, Egypt...not to mention China.

So was Pinochet yet we supported him, the only difference being he was our bad man. Had Castro's Cuba been a source of oil or cheap consumer good we would have happily hopped in bed with him as we have with bad regimes in places like China and Saudi Arabia.

The left likes Che, not Castro. Even Che parted from Castro.

I'm of the opinion that folks on the left are stupid and/or evil.

Look no further than Little Havana in Miami and see what those folks are doing now, and see what the folks in Cuba are doing / are forced to be doing. The folks from there who know better than me and y'all are dancing and partying in the streets while brandishing Cuban AND American flags.

Just look at the difference between the news coverage of this on FOX vs CNN.
Just because you need Fox to tell you how to think doesn't mean the left loves Castro. If anything, CNN has faith in you to see the story and make your own opinion. Looks like they were wrong though. Now Google Batista and see if he was a peaceful man who didn't pull the same stuff Castro did.
